The first BOM from Molly's Boot Bash. This is my first time working with wool felt and it took lots of trail and error and helpful tips from my good friend Pat. Thanks Pat! And thanks Molly for another great BOM. One more thing, I haven't decided if I'm going to add the months in words or not. Will decide late.

Project Linus
Hey bloggy friends........
I am hosting a sew-in day in Feb to make quilts/blankets for Project Linus.
I'm looking for fabric donations.
If you or if you know someone that would be willing to donate to this worthy cause, please let me know.
I've emailed several fabric companies that i've ordered from in the past and am waiting to hear back.
thanks in advance.

Square Hearts
this can be a table runner or hanging for your wall
i searched for a "hearts" block
i didn't find anything i liked
so i made this and even wrote up a pattern for it
first block made
i love how they look so crisp and clean
who doesn't love a puffy heart,
and lumpiness?
square heart as a label
the finished product
i'm loving it
(sorry about the pictures, it's so cloudy today and we're expecting snow tonight)

Wanna Help?
Wanna help me raise money for my chapter of Project Linus?
Being a Chapter Coordinator, they would like for us to raise a certain amount of money each year.
We've had some donations of money and fabric that have helped.
However, I still need to met a small goal.
Right now, we are raffling some Applebee's gift cards that Applebee's kindly donated.
But, I wanted something you all can help me with.
I've been thinking of different ways to reach this goal and I think this will work if my blogging buddies will help me.
I was wondering if someone out there would be willing to donate a quilt, send it to me.
I'll take lots of pictures of the quilt and raffle it off. Say, $1.00 a ticket?
I have a paypal account set up for my PL funds.
The Paypal email address is tonyassewingroom@gmail.com
The Paypal email address is tonyassewingroom@gmail.com
I can provide tax receipts to anyone who wants one
I sell on Etsy and Artfire and a portion of my sells go to my PL Chapter.
you can find those links here.
Please let me know your thoughts or ideas on this.
