First, we found out yesterday, the car is totaled. We don't know what they'll offer or anything like that yet. Thank you all so much for your kind words, thoughts and prayers.
Now.........I've been brain storming (you wondered what all that noise was, didn't ya). Trying to think of things I can make and sell on my Etsy site. I have my Capri Sun bags on there and now I've made bunches of ornaments and fabric gift tags for Christmas.
I have a few other ideas of things to make or do. Do you guys have any greats ideas of something quick I can make? I know my whole "money saving" process will take some time. No hurry. I want to take my time and make good things people will "hopefully" buy. Let me know your ideas.
How about the little pocket tissue pack covers? They're very quick and easy.
ReplyDeleteHey I was just thinking about what else you could make...
ReplyDeleteI'm a substitute teacher and one of the kids in a class I was in recently had the most awesome lunch bag ever!!!
It was made from Koolaid Jammers, 6 on each side, then 3 for the bottom and 2 for each end... and 3 for a flap that secured with velcro!! Plus there was a strap from nylon.
I bet you could do something similar with Capri Sun packs!
I bet they'd sell quick too... it was the coolest lunch bag I'd ever seen and talk about green!!! Reuse and Repurpose!!!
Good luck with your etsy store. I'll try to think of some things that might be good for you to make and sell there.
ReplyDeleteI will rack my poor brain for you Tonya.

Sorry, I am fresh out of ideas today. if I can come up with some I will let you know.
ReplyDeleteZippered pouches of different sizes? Fabric totes?
ReplyDeleteI am never good at generating money.....some people just have the magic touch but I do not....so if I were to suggest something it would be no good. Not feeling sorry for myself, just it is what it is. Good luck on your generating cash ideas.....
ReplyDeleteHow about a Wonder Wallet or two. I am using mine to hold all of those pesky extra cards for the stores to get their in store discounts. It is perfect for that, easy to find in my purse, and lightens the load in my wallet. Sorry about the car.
ReplyDeleteYou are too smart! I made myself a cover for my sewing machine. I don't know if anyone else would be interested in that. I guess if you need a sewing machine cover you could make one yourself. I know you hate losing your car.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear your car is a complete loss. Looks like some neat things you've decided to sell. Can't wait to see what else you make.
