(That almost sounds dirty, don't it?)

SO, we've been wanting this outdoor game, Cornhole.
It's expensive......well, for us it is. Over $100.00.
With our bright minds, we decided..........WE CAN MAKE THIS.
TJ has a wood shop, and I can make the bean bags.
I have 3 out of the 8 bags made and TJ has all the wood.
Last night he said "when you get up, I'll be in the shop". When I got up at 8 he was asleep in the recliner, where he still is and it's 10:41am. haha
Ours will be brown and cream. Because, that's the kind of fabric I had to use on the bags. lol
So, do you Cornhole?
It's a very popular game around here the last couple years. Some of the local bars have tournaments on the week-end. I have never played, but my SIL and BIL love it. It looks like it would be fun. I know they have circles for different points like the dart board. I can't wait to see yours. It will be better than a $100.00 set.
ReplyDeletedon't plat but it sure is a popular game in our area1 Have fun playing the game when you get it done!
ReplyDeletenever heard of it until now...
ReplyDeletesorry should have said play instead of plat. have a great day!
ReplyDeleteNever played...but it looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy
I'd not heard of this game before you mentioned it, either. I"m sure your game will turn out very nice and you'll appreciate it more than that expensive, store-bought one!
ReplyDeletevery creative, way to go
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you didn't wake him up and tease him about being asleep. He was "sawing" but only logs -not the lumber needed to make the board!
ReplyDeleteMy kids enjoy it and we have lots of pictures of them playing it at the beach last summer. Yours will probably be a lot better than the 'store bought' ones.
ReplyDeleteI've not heard of this game before, but we play something similar but with huge washers. Our neighbors have an annual Labor Day picnic that we attend and they play it. The first time I played I was fine until the next day. My chest muscles hurt so much I could barely move my arms. Who knew those washers were so heavy! LOL
ReplyDeleteNever heard of it but it looks kind of like a Carney game. Looks like it would be fun.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of cornholing. Honestly, when I saw the picture, at first I thought it was a lovely chaise for the back deck, complete with matching pillows. I didn't see the hole hehe.
ReplyDeleteNeato!
