about the book:
If you are a quilter, live with a quilter, or know a quilter, this comedic look at life in the quilting world is a must read!
With little warning, Mark Hyland’s journey with “The Quilter” began as soon as he said the words “I do.” After 17 years of marriage, he could remain silent no longer. Mark exposes the idiosyncrasies and jargon of quilting from a non-quilting perspective, recognizing the love and dedication quilters have for their art.
Let the truth about quilters be known in this hilarious glimpse of their wild and wacky world!
The author has generously agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds of each book back to Project Linus.

What an awesome idea for a book. I would like to read it myself and see how the other half of the world perceives us quilters. ;)
ReplyDeleteI would also love to read the book, then give it to the hubby. I'm sure he could pass it to his friend who is married to a quilter.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this book but I'm also going to buy myself a copy. If I win, I'm sure that I can find a way to use it. Project Linus is such a wonderful organization and I participate locally. Thanks for the great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine all of the wild things that are written in there. It will definitely make us think twice about our addicition. How wonderful that they are donating some of the proceeds to Linus.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun read. Please enter me in your drawing.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun book and it is a great cause.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is a great giveaway, I bet it is hilarious and my husband could relate, I am sure...
ReplyDeleteAll quilt husbands have to learn to live with our "hobby" of buying expensive fabric and then cutting it up in small pieces and sewing it back up again. Love it when my hubby uses words like fat quarter or log cabin. Don't know if he really knows what he is saying or just wants to show off!
ReplyDeleteThat has got to be a good read, and I love books almost as much as I love fabric, it is a good toss up that is for sure!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a very fun book to have....put my name in the hat, too, okay?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun book! I'm sure my husband has lived through many of the anecdotes in there!
ReplyDeleteTHANKS TONYA!
ReplyDeleteSOUNDS LIKE A NEAT BOOK!
