Just for you.....

this is a book i got from project linus.org
when you buy these books, a portion of the money
goes back to my chapter

about the book:
If you are a quilter, live with a quilter, or know a quilter, this comedic look at life in the quilting world is a must read!
With little warning, Mark Hyland’s journey with “The Quilter” began as soon as he said the words “I do.”  After 17 years of marriage, he could remain silent no longer.  Mark exposes the idiosyncrasies and jargon of quilting from a non-quilting perspective, recognizing the love and dedication quilters have for their art.
Let the truth about quilters be known in this hilarious glimpse of their wild and wacky world!
The author has generously agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds of each book back to Project Linus.
i am going to give away a copy of this book...
please leave a comment if you would like to be entered to win

i'll draw a winner on friday....

  2. What an awesome idea for a book. I would like to read it myself and see how the other half of the world perceives us quilters. ;)

  3. I would also love to read the book, then give it to the hubby. I'm sure he could pass it to his friend who is married to a quilter.

  9. All quilt husbands have to learn to live with our "hobby" of buying expensive fabric and then cutting it up in small pieces and sewing it back up again. Love it when my hubby uses words like fat quarter or log cabin. Don't know if he really knows what he is saying or just wants to show off!

  14. I would love to have, although I'm not sure I would let my hubby read it. What if all the spouses decided to form a Quilter's Anonymous? Thanks Tonya.
