I was itching for some paper pieced sewing.
So, after searching my blocks that I had bookmarked or "pinned", this one spoke to me the most.
Here's the link for the House Block.
I used scraps in this block. Hopefully, I'll make a few more...maybe enough for a hanging,
or maybe a welcome hanging for the door. Not sure yet.
I noticed the colors are a little off in this picture.
Could be our super cloudy, rainy day.
TJ & E from our visit this weekend.
They played putt-putt and I kept score. Their showing me their score, TJ with 3 and E with 5
It was very hot and humid (which just makes me swell even more).
It was a great trip/visit.
E enjoyed putt putt, go-kart racing, tons of video games and some bowling.
Here's me and E. I'm super swollen. Though I've lost 31 lbs, I can't prove it in this picture.
The Dr. has changed up my fluid pills a bit, and it really made me miserable for a few days.
Hopefully, I'm getting back on track. I have about 10 lbs of fluid on now........We had a good day.
Once we got home, TJ crashed out at 6pm, and I went to bed at 8pm....we were beat. It's been awhile since we have been out in the heat most of the day.
Off to make more houses, or who knows......maybe even get a nap in.
That's a cute little house.
ReplyDeleteLooks like your family had a wonderful time. I know what you mean about the heat. I can take cool weather better than oppressive heat.
Love the house block!! So glad y'all had fun, but not the heat ughhhhhh!!
ReplyDeleteThat heat sounds brutal! Glad that you were able to enjoy the visit in spite of it.
ReplyDeleteThe house is darling.
The nap sounds good to me!
ReplyDeleteE is looking good. Hugs to you!
You're a paper piecing rock star!
ReplyDeleteLIke you, the heat just saps every ounce of energy that I have. I really need to move north! Hope the swelling goes down quickly. Congratulations on the 31 pounds!
E looks really good!
