Poor E can't drink enough of these to keep my business going. I have three other girls saving them for me. Thank goodness, they all have 3-4 kids. One girl lives in Nebraska, she's a family friend. I pay her postage for her to send them for me. The other girl lives in NC, but two hours away. I also pay her postage. Then my sister in law has 3 boys and one on the way, they live right now the road. Oh and let's not forget Jan from the UK, she sends them to me as well. However, she sends other goodies to me. I love that woman!
I really enjoy making these, I've got them down to an art and can get a whole set together in about an hour. Someone asked if sewing these are hard on your needles, I can only assume they are. However, I've only broke one needle making these, so far. My plan is, once I get my new sewing machine, to only make these on my old machine. Good idea huh?
Wowwee! Super terrific! I hope you get a great local business going on these. ANd then Maybe they will want you to make other things too.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of only sewing these on the older machine. Actually if you had an old "workhorse" mechanical machine you could use it. They sew tough stuff better and are hard to kill. You may want to check the local thrift stores and see if you can get one for a few dollars. I know your MAN can work on those if they only have minor problems!
Hey, just ask your local friends if anyone they know has an old mechanical machine they want to get out of the way. You would be surprised at what might happen!
ReplyDeleteThat is just too exciting...I am so glad you are doing so good. I buy those for my scouts every once in a while, I will have to remember to save them for you. Talk about going green!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your success!
ReplyDeleteYAY.....happy news!!! Keep up the good work on the sales front, Aunt Kathy!!!

ReplyDeletekeep up the good work! Yeah Aunt Kathy!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the company would pay a handsome fee to help promote their product??? Glad they are selling well. I would think a boutique or some quirky little cute store of some sort would like to have a display of these bags.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Aunt Kathy! I'm glad you're doing so well!
