........that's all I have to show
I'm working on several different projects at one time. I tend to do that. If I get bored with something, I'll go to something else. I guess that's how I get UFO's and WIP's.
It's been pretty low key around here lately. It's brutally cold outside. Like in the teens. We've been staying in. We did venture further up the mountain yesterday for a little shopping, they have snow piles in the parking lots that are as high as the buildings. Amazing!
I've done something to my right knee, it's super swollen and hurts like.....well you know, hurts bad! I must get it taken care of right away. I'm expecting a new Wii game I ordered last week to come tomorrow. Wii Sports Active.....gotta get some exercise to continue my weight loss. I've lost 21lbs....so, only about 200 more to go. lol
Congratulations on the loss!! Believe me, I know how difficult that is. Your picture is really interesting. It may be just a mess to som, but to a sewer, it's an interesting project.
ReplyDeleteI am proud of your weight loss, how did you do it?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you have a lot going on. Congrats on the weight loss! I hope the knee is recovered very soon.
ReplyDeleteI tend to hop around from project to projct - that's why I am trying to finish up a few.
ReplyDeletePlease take care of that knee.
It sounds so wonderful when you talk about living on a "mountain"! I am in farmland and flatland, so a mountain sounds just beautiful.
I hope the knee gets better soon. I need to get my butt moving on our Wii.....I can't go on as heavy as I am now. My health is suffering because of it. And don't even get me started on UFO's....LOL
ReplyDeleteHope there's nothing too serious going on with your knee. I'm trying to finish up some projects as well. Stay warm... seems like half the country's in the deep freeze...guess it's keeps everyone inside and working on their projects.
ReplyDeleteMy congratulations on your weight loss. And encouragement to keep going. I, too, hop from project to project but I try to keep it to no more than 3 plus various BOMs. That way I do get to have some finishes. ;-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 21 lbs!
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice, neat mess you have there. You wanna see a mess? I should show you a photo of my sewing room. The only problem is, it isn't sewing that's made it messy. It's everything else.
Hope your knee is better soon and you get to enjoy your new game.
Good for you!!! But do get that knee checked. Damaged knee tissue tends to scar quickly, so just get to the doc to be sure!
ReplyDeleteOh - and I thought one was supposed to have several projects going at one time!!! LOL!
Keep up the good work, and take care of that knee!!
ReplyDeleteLOL I so know what you mean!!
ReplyDeleteTake care of that knee!!
Congrats on the weight loss. I've got a lot to lose too. Hope you can get help for your knee.
ReplyDeletebtw-my sewing room looks like yours. I'll try to post a picture tomorrow. Hugs
Hope the knee isn't hurt too badly. I'd hate to have you miss out on all those fun Wii games!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the weight loss. What a great start.
So cold here too. I am already tired of winter. Getting out in this weather is so hard. We have to bundle two kids up and then get them in the carseats with these big coats on. Easier for Nana to stay home.
ReplyDeleteYour weight loss is a great way to start the new year. Keep it up.
Way to go Tonya! It ain't easy and I admire your stick to it-ness and your honesty in posting about it here!
ReplyDeleteI agree with someone else who said your "mess" looks like an interesting project for another sewing person ;)
Tonya, whatever you are working on looks lively and happy. Congratulations on your weight loss. You have to be proud. I hope your knee gets better
