I call this Tay's Love. Our good friend Tay loves the Asian women. We pick on him all the time about this. He's so cute. I had this fat quarter (and didn't know it) till I went through them all a week or so ago. I knew I couldn't cut this and make something special for him. I just quilted it simply and put a back on it the same color as that red on the front. Then some black binding. Just a small hanging for his room. I hope he likes it.
I like simple quilting...it looks very nice - and I'm sure your friend will like it.
