Mushu &..........Peas & Carrots

Mushu has found a home (for now, or for that time being.  He has since moved.)
He was rest against my peas & carrots blocks.  He begged me not to move the blocks, saying if I did he would fall over.  I assure him, if he fell; he would be just fine.  And he was.  Bless his heart!
I assembled those blocks to make this rag quilt.
I wanted it just a tad bigger, so I used some the backing fabric to frame the outside of the quilt.
I love the back.  So crinkly.
This was 3 charm packs of 29 charm squares each of
Peas & Carrots
by American Jane Patterns Sandy Klop for Moda
I love American Jane.
Here are 3 finished quilts for my Project Linus Chapter I did this weekend.
The middle one someone sent to me as a completed quilt top and I finished it from there.
The other two I pieced with a jelly roll.

Follow by Email

I added a "follow by email" box in the upper left hand corner of my blog.
Connie was asking if I had that option the other day.
She asked me several questions and I typed the email all out and hit send.....
only to find out she was a no reply blogger.  Uggghhh
Connie, if you see this, please email me tonyahmay@aol.com and I'll get back to you right away.

Also, look in the upper right hand corner to follow the adventures of Mushu & Spencer.

Meet Mushu

Meet Mushu......he arrived in the mail today.
I wasn't really sure about him, didn't know why he had arrived at my house.
I didn't know what his name was.
Thankfully, there was a note attached to him.
It said, he is Spencer's brother. (if you don't know Spencer, please click on his name and learn all about him) It will help you understand.  Spencer has been on adventure's.....read about them here.
Back to the note......they let me know, he didn't have a name and he would like to go on adventures like Spencer does.

WOW, could I handle this?  Could I be so kind to Mushu?  Mushu was the dragon in the movie Mulan.

So, this evening I had to go to my mom's
Mushu yelled......"can I go too"?.
I picked him up and took him with me.

I had to drop a card for E off at the mailbox and Mushu helped with that.
He got scared, he thought he was going in the big blue box too.
Bless his heart......he's such a sweetie.

Stayed tuned for more Mushu sightings.
Also keep up with Spencer.
