OH MY..........
i found out tonight they don't call it "bear tracks" for nothing.....
for me, it was a real bear to put together
and it was totally my fault
i woke up this morning with a migraine
the meds (zomig) will totally knock out the migraine and your mind with it
i'm good for nothing the rest of the day
i started to come out of the "fog" about an hour ago, so i thought i'd try a few no sew green blocks
this is what the bear tracks should look like....
here's what mine looks like........
......and i'm totally ok with it
I honestly like your way better.
ReplyDeleteI think yours is a very nice variation!!! And....when someone looks at your completed quilt, they won't know that block was supposed to look different, ya know?
ReplyDeleteI almost put mine together with them all facing out. It's fine. No block needs to be exactly like the pattern or the block that someone else makes. I like it!
ReplyDeleteBut that's okay, Tonya. It looks great the way you did it!
ReplyDeleteI think I like your way better too!
ReplyDeleteLooks like creative license to me you could even rename the block Bear Stand off, since all the paws are facing each other, lol.
ReplyDeleteDo they know what is causing your headaches?
ReplyDeleteLove the way your block turned out!
ReplyDeletecall it individuality...personally, I don't like to follow quilt patterns
ReplyDeleteI have always loved the Bear Track blocks!
ReplyDeleteit looks good! I get migraines too, I cant imagine sewing with one, or after one.....you are brave.....
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful! What is wrong with it?
ReplyDeleteIt's a great block Tonya. The colors are wonderful
ReplyDeleteYour block is perfect just the way it is. There is no right way or wrong way in quilting. And yes I did change the name. Hugs
ReplyDeleteIt's a really pretty block! I like the change you made.
