This out of the norm for me. I don't blog about other's giveaways. However, this one is different. Who couldn't use more bake ware. This comes from The Gluten Free Mom's blog. I have Celiac Disease and have to eat Gluten Free. Do any of you have any idea how hard that is? NO, bread, pizza, pasta, croutons, hamburgers, hotdogs....and the list goes on and on. It's almost impossible to eat out. However, I like most anything, make it work. I really enjoy this blog and all the insight to Gluten free and Celiac Disease. Click on her blog above for a chance to win if you like.
Does E have it too? it maust be almost impossible to even go out to eat....I know how hard it must be.....Melinda
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of friends who have Celiac. I honestly can NOT imagine how hard it would be. I love starch - especially pasta. My one friend would always buy corn pasta, and when we had pizza, she would make her 'crust' out of rice. It seemed sad to me, but she insisted it was better than the horrible cramps and other symptoms she experienced from eating gluten products.
ReplyDeleteMy two older sisters have Celiac disease, so I know what a trial it can be. I've learned a lot about it because of them. It makes me think of new ways to make things when they're coming to visit.
ReplyDeleteI know what a nightmare that is. I hope you win that gorgeous LeCreuset.
ReplyDeleteHarris Teeter (while a bit pricier) has a lot of gluten-free products and I think you have them in NC.
ReplyDeletethank you Tonya
ReplyDeleteThanks Tonya, I entered. I would love to win that cookware.

ReplyDeleteI cant imagine. I am allergic to wheat but do not have Celiac Disease. At first I thought whats the point of eating if you can not eat anything that is yummy. But I learned to adjust. One thing I do have to say. Pamela's which can be purchased online at their web site and Whole Food's is a life saver, Their Baking mix that can make pancakes is so fluffy and good every person I have fed them to have no idea they are gluten free. Same mix can make drop Biscuits, chocolate chip cookies and a million other things.
Heading to the site now. Can use all the help I can get!
Thanks!
